Marion wasn’t a man of many words, but when he spoke, he spoke words of wisdom. He worked his last job at Pride of Sampson until his health declined.He married the love of his life on February 12, 2000. He was a very hardworking man holding numerous jobs including Mount Olive Pickle Plant and Carolina Turkey. Marion gave his life to Christ at an early age and was an active member of Moses Chapel, where he served faithfully until he later joined Sampson Chapel. He resided in Faison, North Carolin until his later years moving to Clinton, North Carolina. He grew up in the Faison, North Carolina community and was educated in the North Duplin County School District where he graduated from North Duplin High School in 1976. Jabo, as he was affectionately known to many, was born on May 15, 1957, a son of the late Marion Lee Aycock Jr. On Thursday, November 23, 2023, after a period of declining health, Marion Lee “Jabo” Aycock III slipped away peacefully surrounded by his family on the journey to be with his Heavenly Father.
